SHARE - HIV /AIDS Response in Zambia
SHARE is a program that was funded by USAID and started working in Zambia in October 2004 with a mandate from the government of Zambia. The project was designed to support and expand the Zambian response to HIV/AIDS.
- SHARe increases activities in private and public sector workplaces, including prevention, counseling & testing, palliative care, and treatment (ART). Along with these efforts to promote service delivery in the workplace, the project supports capacity building of coordinating institutions and leadership strengthening. SHARe further provides technical assistance to other USAID Strategic Objectives and manages a rapid response fund to support leadership in HIV/AIDS throughout the country.
